This may not be the best solution for you but I store my micros in one-inch square zip-lock bags.

Sometimes the micros are so small that I first put them in a gelatin capsule and then in a one-inch square zip-lock.

My feeling is that there really is no such thing as "display" of micros themselves. I believe a high-resolution image of your micro (perhaps next to the micro itself at a show) will give viewers a much better idea of the beauty of the shell.

Of course, 10mm shells are giants to me lately.
