Dear professor Mienis,

  Thank you very much for the information about the publications
dealing with the mollusc fauna of volcanic lakes near Rome.

  My interest is knowing if any bivalves such as Anodonta (or similar)
could have been present in Nemi lake during Roman times. N. Tiberi
notes that they could be found in Lake Patria still in 1879.
