Aloha,
I use mineral oil as baby oil is mineral oil cut with alcohol & eventually
evaporates. Coat the edges with a thin layer of vaseline. This is the most
brittle area & tends to crack once dried. A soaking in a glycerol/alcohol
bath does help.    Mahalo!  CHRIS:)
