Dear friends, I wish to thank those who reacted and in particular Jim
Miller and Ron Noseworthy which provided me with very interesting
information.
It seems that I've got a bunch of chinese maricultured Argopecten
irradians irradians (probably escaped into the wild)from the North Yellow
Sea,Shandong Province-China.If I find somewhere some "bivalve" webspace I
can put some pictures of these magnificent colored shells.
