I got some small "bivalves" from a river in São Paulo (Brazil) and showed to Dr. Simone, who told me
they are Conchostraca (Crustacea). At first they look like bivalves but they lack the hinge or
muscle marks

They are 2 - 3mm. I took this lousy picture (on left) using my compact camera - on the right I used
the camera on my cell phone directly onto the microscope!
