Hello,

I am currently undertaking a molecular analysis of some Australian and
New Zealand species of the operculate pulmonate family Amphibolidae.
There are several species of Salinator which occur commonly in mangrove
and mudflat habitat in Asia; through Indonesia, Malaysia, China, the
Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and India to the Arabian Gulf.

If anyone in these areas has access to specimens which could be
collected and sent to the Australian Museum in Sydney, I would be very
grateful if they could contact me for further details. I am happy to
collect and exchange other molluscan specimens from the Sydney region in
return.

Thanks and cheers from Sydney,

Rosemary
