Someone (not on the list) just asked me:

"Was that you suggesting (at Conch-L?) that one of the Chinese dealers
supplies erroneus data for his specimens?  I know most do not supply
very much information but I am unaware of any that deliberately give
false data."


I see that my statement could be interpreted in this way.

In fact it was not a Chinese dealer, nor a European nor North American.
