There was an article several years ago in he Hawaiian Shell News by Tom
Honker that was collected off the South East Coast of Florida.

NEVER collected on the west coast that I know of.

Subject: [CONCH-L] Cypraea surinamensis

I have a question for anyone who might be able to answer a question
regarding Cypraea surinamensis. Is anyone aware of a specimen collected
anywhere off the Florida West Coast? If so, where was it found and can you
provide any further data about it? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
