I just subscribed to Conch-L but will spare everyone from an
introduction. I am trying to find out if any old friends and contacts
from my work with fossil and recent freshwater mollusks in the 60's and
70's are here in cyberspace. I would like to hear from you, but please
reply to my e-mail address below and not to the list.

My professional and intellectual interests are now in geohydrology and
environmental statistics, but I occasionally think about applying the
neat tools now at hand to some of the old data and problems. For better
or worse, the convenient communication of the Internet may be
re-kindling my interest in Mollusca and even in dusting off the study
collection.
