Hello!

A most wonderful masterpiece!!

One note (sour to some, maybe). Hows about for the New Year some of the
Conch-L'ers who do not belong to COA (Conchologists of America) join up.
It is worth it. You support the Molluscs (yes, including slugs,
octopussys and Flying Porkers), the mollusc workers, the hobby, Conch-L
(which you use, frequently), you get a neat and professional Journal,
contribute grant money for mollusc research, the COA convention, Art and
his things Porcine etc etc etc.

PLEASE JOIN, we need the support of all mollusc workers, armchair,
professional, amateur or field. The new calendar year, subscription
wise, starts on Jan 1999, send your dues to Doris Underwood (at one of
her many addresses). Look it up on the COA website (search engines will
get you there, if you can chat you can surf and find).
