Really, we shouldn't even collect dead shells either.  Isn't this
depleting the amount of CaCO3 in the ocean?  Oh, and then there is
breathing.  We are using up valuable oxygen that could better be
reserved for other creatures.
 
I think I am a responsible person, not indulging too much in anything,
until I read some diatribe like this, and then I realize, I should feel
guilty for being human.
 
Are some people not contributing to the Earth's demise merely by
subscribing to Conch-L?
