Kay,
        I keep Euglandina rosea in a terrarium and his sole purpose of existence in
my home is to clean the shells of landsnails.  It works very well.  He gets
them cleaner than I ever could.  The downside is that he only eats one or two
snails a day so there is a constant backlog.
