Customs and the Post Office knows what's going on.  They don't really
want to be bothered by trivial seashells, but if someone insisted, then
they may have to do something and hurt a lot of people on both ends.  I
usually do what my customer wants me to do.  If the package is lost,
then about $34.00 can be collected on A-O Small Packet without any
insurance if you have a return receipt.  And by the way nessessary is
spelled necessary.
