Yes, you are right, it probably is just warm water, but I don't know
what else they might be doing. Champion paper company, near my
home, claims that what it was putting into Perdido Bay was harmless to
the environment. Huh! We kept letting them dump their stuff, and soon the
bay water
turned brown, thick, nasty foam poured up on the beach, and all the fish
died. A chemical
test confirmed the cause of the wipeout to be from emissions from
Champion. But, you may be right; it could just be a genetic mutation or
it could be runoff from farms.
