Hi All. I am back after several months absence so I have a bit of catching
up to do.My first aim is to fix a Diving/Shell Collecting holiday and would
appreciate advice on where to go for the best tropical marine shells (my
particular interests are Cones,& Cowries). A year ago I read in the British
Shell Collectors' Club Magazine "Pallidula"about a trip to the Solomons in
June 1996. Can anybody on that trip give me more information? I would also
be interested to hear any other recomendations for holidays specifically
for the Shell Collector. I have been on many diving expeditions but often
the opportunities for serious collecting are limited.
I will be at the London Shell Convention on 24 April if any of you are
attending. Please make yourself known to me - I will try to remember to
wear an identfying badge.
Dominic
