Dear Carol:

I have driven through northern Arkansas several times and have found
unionaceans in the St. Francis River west of Kennett, MO, and in the Spring
River, near Ravenden.
Unfortunately, in the last years there have been few or none at both these
locations. I do not know about the regulations in Arkansas, but the State
Wildlife or fish and game agency would probably be able to tell you, if it is
not posted on a web site.

Thank You for your interest,

Martin Kohl
