Rarity has always been a big turn-on in the shell world. 1) Are there
any noteworthy species only known from one or two specimens? (2) and
what was the name of that comfounded black Ovulid/Cypraeid thing
recently sold for $20,000 or more anyway???) 3) Finally, what was the
highest price paid recently for a shell (i know of a fultoni sold for
$24,000 in 1984 or so, so it has to be higher than this.)
