All right people. This is the way it is.
One thing can be said for sure: The God did not create anything that
was not necessary. And that is why, some 18 odd billion years ago, He
created the four forces known to physics. They are The weak and the
strong force, electro-magnetism, and gravity.
He then addressed them (not in English or Aramaic, but probably in
Tamil or Hindi). He did not say: "Let there be light!" What he said was:
"Gentlemen, start your engines!"
The four forces responded creating a ripple, a slight variation in the
all-pervasive nothingness. He then created time. And using time, the
ripple caused the Big Bang.
But the four forces found that The God had played a little trick on
them. He had exempted the tiniest of thingies from the laws propounded
by the Four Forces. Those were the small packets of energy that we call
Quanta. To this day, Quanta escapes all logic but its own.
Then He sat back and watched it all work, for he had done all that was
needful. Time and the Four Forces would do all the rest.
And in that massive area of everything, there were only two things yet
in need of creation: Kentucky Bourbon and the Cincinnati Reds.
