Dear Conch-L,
I agree with Paul that the Fastest bivalves? is the Pectens probably (I am almost
sure). I have to add the following about Pectens, I though and I think many of
you that swimming to back side but I surprised when I saw swimming to the front
side.
In Cebu I turned a dead coral under was a Pecten pallium it surprise me, until to
catch it swim to the front side fast and go under other dead coral, I turned this
also and I catch it as this time I was faster.
In the room I putted it in a Tupperware with sea water and I took it nice shut
with view cam swimming in the front side, is very interesting.
