Kantor (1991) by cladistic analysis based on anatomical
studies has indicated that the ex-Family Olividae
should be divided into 3 new Families : Pseudolividae,
Olividae and Olivellidae, place in two separate superfamilies...
but more work is needed for confirmation of these proposals.

Kantor is famous by his anatomical studies on Olividae
such as the last one "Notes on the anatomy of Oliva oliva
Linnaeus, 1758 and Oliva ouini Kantor & Tursch, 1998" on
APEX, 1998. Vol.13(3), page 131, plates 3 - 7.

I don't have more recent news about the Family Olivellidae.

Regards, Maurizio.
