Art and others, I came back on Conch-L again to see what's happening.
When I read Art talking about turtles, I had to say something. Turtles
was my first hobby. I have a Florida Fresh water turtle in our living
room in a special aquarium built on top of a large piece of coral under
glass. It was born in captivity. I have had it for 15 years now. It
doesn't hibernate. When I lived up north my other turtles did, but when
I transported them south the hibernating became shorter each year until
they didn't hibernate at all. I feed them lean beef, lettuce, and Tetra
ReptoMin floating food sticks. If you're serious you can write me
personally and I can tell you more.

Bob Lipe
