Following are the winners of the scientific exhibits of the show:
The winner of the COA trophy is Jim Vun Kannon of the Broward Shell Club
for his exhibit named "Bahama Out Islands.
Robert Pace of the Greater Miami and Broward club won 4 trophies. they
are:
Dupont trophy for "shell Collecting in Marco Island. He also took the
Edward B. Sarkin Memorial award for this exhibit. He won 2 trophies for 2
different categories of single specimens--self collected and Florida
Shell of the Show. He took the Kathy T. Goold Memorial award for his
exhibit on Florida Fighting Conch Freaks.
Congratulations Bob.
The Les Easland Educational award went to Alice Monroe  of Suncoast
Conchologists for her exhibit:Adaptations of Shell Structure for Survival
in the Marine Environment.
Jake and Sylvia Dominey of Cent. Fl. Shell Club won the Most Beautiful
award for the exhibit on Coralliophilidae.
The novice award went to CFSC member Julie Lushetsky for "Favorite
Shells".
In the artistic entries, our own Kathy Campbell for her African Safari
exhibit, and Sylvia Dominey for a Shells On Stamps picture.
Congratulations to all. They are all exceptional exhibits.
