My dear Paul;-
        I have never been a "loose cannon". A systemicly controled humorist at
best. I have NOT described a couple of Epitoniidae that have passed my
way as "Ep.Sp.". They remain "Ep. Sp." until others of their ilk are
located for comparison---no matter how long it takes. Hardly the
proceedure one would expect of a "loose cannon".
        But I do like pictures. There are a number of pretty good ones in the
Weil, Brown, Neville "Wentletrap Book" being released even as we speak.
