Like Lynn, one of my copies of American Seashells is tainted. In 1992,
when I had the opportunity to meet Tucker for the first time, I was gung-
ho to get it autographed. Tucker complied and subsequently signed.
At the time, Russ Jensen said I was spoiling a perfectly good book - one
which was not yet autographed, and thus making it less rare.
