Dear Conchlers:

I need help placing these three genera in the proper family:

Elachorbis Iredale, 1915 (type: Cyclostrema tatei Angas)

Coronadoa Bartsch, 1946 (type: C. simonsae Bartsch, 1946)

Tasmocrossea Dell, 1952 (type: T. benthicola Dell, 1952)

I currently have them placed in the Turbinidae:Liottiinae.

Vaught, 1989:11, listed these genera under the Cyclostrematidae, a
polyphyletic group no longer used. It's genera have been moved
variously to the Turbinidae:Liottiinae, the Skeneidae, or the Rissoacean
family Vitrinellidae.

Hickman & McLean, 1990, did not list these genera in their review of the
Trochacea, which makes me suspect that they have been moved to the
Rissoacea.

Thanks in advance.

Yours, Andrew
