I have a dark-amber colored Oliva that was identified for me by an old-time
shell collector Evelyn Woodlock as Oliva pattersoni. I found it when I was
twelve at Rincon, Puerto Rico and never found any again until I returned
there 30 years later despite traveling to a number of Caribbean sites.
Is pattersoni considered just a form of reticularis or fulgurator?
