  My name is Daniel Parrish. I am the coordinator for the Silent Auction at
the Conchologists of American convention to be held in Orlando, Florida in
July of 1998.  We use all the proceeds raised in the silent auction to provide
scholarships for scientific study in the field of malacology and conchology.
By getting various people to donate specimens and/or shell related items and
then holding the auction, we provide a number of scholarships.
   I ask that data and identification be provided with the specimens if at all
possible.  I will send you my snail mail address if you are willing to help us
