Hmmm...epitoniids are calcitic and generally remain when all other molluscs
(excepting the pteriomorph bivalves) are dissolved by diagenetic
processes/groundwater, becoming the default gastropods (Janthinids ought to
remain too, if initially present).

If anyone has spare epitoniids from there, I'd love to get my mitts on them!
