    We (the editorial "we") are still waiting to hear from someone why
V. soulie Marche-Marchad 1974 supercedes V. porcina Broderip, 1830. It's
not as if Broderip was some fly-by-night.
    While waiting, there are two others we (editorial again) would like
to have someone look at.
    V. reticulata Reeve, 1844 is replaced by V. damoni Gray, 1864.
    V. reticulata Gmelin, 1791 is replaced by V. praetexta Reeve, 1849
    All answers and speculations will be held in strictest confidence
