Hello to all,
I am a new subscriber to the list and would like to introduce
myself. My name is Erich Draeger, and am a Research Specialist in
Entomology at the University of Arizona. I have been interested in
marine shells for some time but have never pursued the interest until
now. I have a good start of a general collection which I inherited from
my father. He collected thousands of specimens when he was in the
pacific with "Operation Crossroads" the Atomic bomb program at the
Bikini atoll in 1946. I would like to grow this collection through
trade. At this time I am trying to classify what I have and would like
any suggestions as to general texts that would be helpful to the
beginning collector. I currently own The 3 volume set "Indo-pacific
Mollusca" R.T.Abbott and the "Compendium of Seashells" Abbott and Dance.
Thanks to all in advance.

Erich
