"Peanut shells" are in the genus Cerion. There are many different forms
distributed throughout the Caribbean area, and endless disagreement over how
many of those forms are actually valid species. Well over a hundred
different taxa exist, with some authors counting most of them as species,
and other authors claiming there are as few as a dozen species, with all the
rest being subspecies or forms.
