John:

If you produce a document in MS Word or MS Publisher or Pagemaker (IBM
version) or better yet, Acrobat, I can put in on IHSN for as long as the
memory is available. It is indeed a valuable item to own. Mine is
always at hand. You should get permission from the Veliger to reproduce
the book. Anyone know an Email or other address to write to?

The book could be enhanced by some more illustrations, preferably in
black and white to keep memory down.

Winifred Ross died some years ago at age 105 In Tucson, Arizona. She
still collected on the reef at 90+. She left HMS her collection which
we sold at auction for scholarship funds. Her daughter, Helen Daniels,
who lived in Kaneohe and helped me unpack the shells and prepare them
for auction, died several months ago.
