It is time the scientific communities (those funded by the pharmaceutical
companies in particular) got their act to gether rather than each going off on a
separate  tangent. In Australia there are several instances where C. geographis (
and many other cone species) have been gathered in numbers in the the name of
science for drug research. Surely the results of these scientific tests  can be
shared instead of depleting the already overexploited conus species. I am able to
supply the names of the University groups in Australia which are funded by the
drug companies and who are not prepared to share their knowledge with others? We
must resist any efforts to assist in this type of collecting which is purely for
the commercial interests of the drug companies.
