We have four juvenile specimens of Crassilabrum crassilabrum (ANSP 251730),
two of which have somewhat worn protoconchs that were probably less than two
whorls when intact. So most likely this species has direct development. (For
those of you not familiar with the terminology, direct development means
that the eggs hatch directly to a crawling juvenile, so there is no
planktonic larval stage.)
