For you bivalve mavens,

I can't tell from the book illustrations. When Circe scripta is called
"compressed" does that mean it is nearly flat?

These clams from the Phuket Sea in Thailand appeared to me like huge
Crassinellas, with straight dorsal margins and about proportionally as flat
as a Crassinella. Interiors are pink and purple on white. Length is nearly 7
cm, height 6 cm.
