I haven't been to Australia, just done a bit of reading, so take this for
what it's worth. As I understand it, the prevailing winds blow the jellyfish
towards shore. You can probably take a boat trip offshore and snorkel the
reef, though you won't be able to collect. Be sure to wear a dive skin at the
very least. Box jellies are no joke.
