Hi Barbara!
Though I share the name "god-like" with your husband, I am not so fortunate as
to have a shell named like me. I once started compiling a list of girl names for
molluscan taxa, which yielded stuff as:
Katharina Gray 1847 (Mollusca Loricata Mopaliidae (cf. Thiele))
Martha (Gastropoda Stylommatophora, syn. of ?Helicopsis Fitzinger 1833)
Marisa  (Gastropoda Prosobranchia) (happened to be a former girlfriend of mine)
Mathilda (Gastropoda Prosobranchia (Mathildidae))
and not forget Cypraea isabella.

Homo molluscophilus germanicus "Michael"
