Hello!
Just for info, 'Lessepsian' comes from the name of Monsieur de Lesseps, the
French engineer who cut the Suez Channel.
And, malacologically speaking, it is not a term 'invented' by the staff of
our magazine, but absolutely general in its use in all the European
literature referring to these phenomena of migration...thorugh the Suez
Channel
