There is a new book on S. African shells that has just been published.
It is called "Marine Shells of South Africa, by D. Steyn and M. Lussi".
It is an A4 size, hard-covered book, with 121 colour plates and 1400 colour
images illustrating more than 1000 species of S. African shells, all of
which can be picked up on the beaches around the coast. A distribution map
for each species is also given.
Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of this book can email me privately
for more details.
