- Descrizione di dieci nuove marginelle (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia,
Marginellidae e Cystiscidae) della provincia Indo-Pacifica
The Malacological Museum housed material from various collections and
researches; the study opportunity arose from the availability of other
material from Angelo Lugli, an attentive and skilful traveller, with an
interest in malacology. The material has not been examined completely, but
it has already allowed for the verification of the existence of new species
described herein.
The areas of provenance of the material are: Indonesia, the Seychelles,
Kenya, Somalia and the Maldives. In particular, two Marginellidae
Dentimargo and eight Cystiscidae (1 Plesiocystiscus, 1 Cystiscus, 1
Persicula, 1 Crithe and 4 Gibberula) are described.
The systematic indications of Coovert & Coovert 1995 were followed and shared.

- Descrizione di sei nuove marginelle (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia,
Marginellidae e Cystiscidae) della Nuova Caledonia
Further to the MUSORSTOM campaigns of the Paris Natural History Museum,
interest for malacological research has grown in New Caledonia, and new
material is often discovered, along with new species. Following the
dredging of the ìTuiî motorship in the Grand Passage, Vincent Craissac
recently managed to find specimens used for the study which led to the
description of a new Persicula Schumacher, 1817; of a new Serrataginella
Coovert & Coovert 1995; of a Hidroginella Laseron 1957; of a Prunum
Herrmannsen 1852 and of two Dentimargo Cossmann, 1899.
Naturally, the Coovert & Coovert 1995 scheme was followed for the study.

- Descrizione di due nuove marginelle (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia,
Marginellidae e Cystiscidae) delle Filippine
Contrary to what occurs for other groups, the Philippines are apparently
not profuse with Marginella and thereby extremely seldom allow us to
discover new species. The two new species were examined in a Balicasag
reef, in deep caverns, and at -20 m. These include a Gibberula Swainson,
1840 and a Dentimargo Cossmann, 1899.

- Descrizione di una nuova marginella (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia,
Cystiscidae) dell'Arcipelago delle Marchesi
The study and examination of coral detritus gathered on a beach in the bay
of Tahauku has led to the discovery of the existence of a few specimens of
a new Gibberula, unreported to date, and featuring considerably contained
dimensions.

- Descrizione di una nuova marginella (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia,
Marginellidae) del Madagascar
The growing interest in Madagascan malacofauna has led many researchers to
intensify the collection of specimens from this large island in the western
Indian Ocean. Over the course of the last year, a few shell specimens have
been gathered, most of which washed up on shore, belonging to the Closia
genus, in accordance with the systematic indications of Coovert & Coovert,
1995. We are therefore convinced as to the existence of a new species
distinct from the others already known to exist in the western Indian
Ocean, and not belonging to the Bullata or Ovaginella genera.

- REVISION OF THE GENUS AESOPUS GOULD, 1860 IN SOUTH AFRICA WITH THE
DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES (GASTROPODA:PROSOBRANCHIA:NEOGASTROPODA)
