Not entirely, 'though infection is uncommon! Opening an ATTACHMENT to email
offers an effective route for infecting a Mac, and a Mac version of
"Backport," called "Macport" is out there, too. I never open any attachment
from people I do not know to be careful, and, on high speed internet
connection, I find as many as 20 scans a week from suspect sites (which are
blocked by my firewall).
