In the May 2002 edition of National Geographic magazine there was an article
on Inca mummies.  Wrapped up in a funeary bundle the anthropologists found
were some spondylus shells, supposedly an indication of wealth and high
status.

Based on this indication some of us are probably very wealthy indeed!!
