There are some programs coming up in June that look interesting to me,
if you wish to make a note on your calendar:
Wednesday, June 10, 8:00 CDT, (1 hour) Secrets of the Ocean Realm: "City
in the Sea/Star Gardens"
Award-winning underwater filmmakers Howard and Michele Hall and
their team journey to the world's most beautiful undersea sites, from
the Caribbean coral reef to the equally spectacular reefs found in the
frigid waters of the North Pacific.
Wednesday, June 17, 8:00 CDT, (one hour) The World of National
Geographic: "Jewels of the Caribbean Sea"
Husband and wife filmmaking team Howard and Michele Hall go to
extraordinary lengths to document the spectacular beauty of life under
the Caribbean Sea and the tropical Atlantic. (to be repeated on June 22
at 12:00 midnight CDT)
Tuesday, June 23, 8:00 CDT (one hour) Nova: "Treasures of the Great
Barrier Reef"
Observe the activities of such startling creatures as the blind
shrimp and pop-eyed goby fish.
At least there is some compensation for the summer re-runs on the
networks.
