Hello all,

I have a question from a name-seeker, looking for author and date and
hopefully a story about "Cerithiorsis sigsbeeana." I assume "Cerithiorsis"
is a mis-spelling of "Cerithiopsis", but the species name is still a
mystery to me. Any ideas?

Below is what was sent to me, regarding a list of slides in the AMNH
library special collections (you'll note the writer's name as a probable
source of her interest).

Thanks!

Julia
