Dear Marcus and friends,
When I travel I use more simple and traditional method, I put lots of salt on the
shells almost cover them and I let dry for a day and that's all, smell little and not
too bad, like a dry fish, also the salt protect the shells on transportation in a
taper. I use this method mostly for small shells and of course not for glossy shells.
I can find the salt everywhere so I use the Vodka for my pleasure {:-)
Best regards.
George
