Dear Conch-l'ers,

>I have collected beach P. lewisii (not worn
>specimens) atQualicum Beach, and also Patricia Bay in
>Saanich Inlet.

For those going to Tacoma next week, I have seen
significant numbers of beached Polinices lewisii at
Alki Point in Seattle and a good population of live
specimens at Silverdale in Kitsap County. I would
guess that they are fairly common in most sandy
embayments and throughout Puget Sound.

See you in Tacoma,

Phil Liff-Grieff

PS- Are there any land snailers coming? Contact me
off list. Thanks.
