Dear Conch-L'ers,

Is there any way to successfully unroll chitons?

These were collected a few days ago but, unfortunately
a few of the specimens curled up even though they were
in saltwater. I put them into glycerin and alcohol
(70% ethanol)with the flat specimens until I got them
home.

Will epsom salts work at this point? If not, are there
any other ways to relax them?

Any help is, as always, appreciated.
