Barycypraea caputviperae (Martin, 1899) was originally described as Cypraea
(Aricia) caput-viperae in Samml. Geol. Reichsmus. (2) 1/1: 169, f. 389-392.
My source is A Catalogue of Living and Fossil Cowries by F. A. Schilder and
M. Schilder 1971
