To the Naticidae experts in the group,
Today I received from an old collection a shell labeles Polinices
orbicularis Numland ND from off Humboldt Bay, California. I have searched
the internet, and many other references but, as of yet, have had no luck
finding anything close to a connection. Does anyone know when this species
was named or whether it might be a synonym for another species?
Thank you in advance for any help given.
Dan Yoshimoto
