Go to your local university library. Not only do they have blazing fast
connections, they have free access to a huge variety of data bases that
are generally available only for a price, or not at all.

I have been doing a bunch of research of old periodicals (1780-1840) and
would be both broke and lost without FAU's library computers. Nice to
finally get something for my tax dollars.....
